Terms of use for Teddyshop

This English version is provided for convenience. Only the German version is legally binding.

In short: the tools are free. For products that Teddyshop creates in your store, we charge a share of 5% of the price per item sold, max. €1, once a month. Fourthwall sells, takes payment and ships. Your designs remain yours. You can delete your account yourself at any time.

2. What Teddyshop is

Teddyshop is a free tool for creators. It designs stickers, collectible cards, download packs and membership images and, at your request, creates products, collections and discount codes in your own Fourthwall store.

The seller towards your buyers is Fourthwall, Inc. Fourthwall handles checkout, tax, printing, shipping and payouts under its own terms. Teddyshop is not a party to purchase contracts with your buyers.

3. Account

To connect with Fourthwall you need an account, signed in with Google. You must be at least 16 years old, as with Fourthwall. For paid parts (Teddyshop share, having your store set up) you must be at least 18 or have your parents’ consent. The tools without a store connection work without an account.

4. Your designs

You may only use images you hold the rights to: your own logos, characters and photos, or those used with the rights holder’s permission. Not permitted are third-party brands and characters without permission and unlawful content, such as incitement to hatred, glorification of violence or depictions that endanger children.

The rights to your designs remain with you. Teddyshop transfers a design only when you trigger it, and only to your Fourthwall store. Teddyshop does not store the design.

5. What Teddyshop does in your store

Teddyshop acts in your store only when you click. New products stay hidden until you publish them. Please check the preview, names and prices before publishing. Teddyshop converts prices using the euro reference rate of the European Central Bank; Fourthwall calculates in US dollars, so small differences are possible.

You can change, hide or delete products and discount codes at any time in your Fourthwall dashboard.

6. Costs and Teddyshop share

Teddyshop’s tools are free. Fourthwall’s fees apply to sales.

Teddyshop’s tools only create products in your store once you have agreed to the Teddyshop share. The share is 5% of the price per item sold, max. €1. For merch it is added to the price and your profit stays the same; for downloads it is included in the price you set. We count the previous month’s orders at Fourthwall, excluding cancellations and your own sample orders.

We invoice once a month via Stripe, payable within 14 days. Amounts under €1 are carried over to the next month. All prices include statutory VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, Dublin, Ireland.

You can withdraw your consent in your account at any time; Teddyshop then stops creating new products. For products already created, the share continues to apply as long as they sell. You can change or delete these products on Fourthwall at any time.

The “Create for free” link to Fourthwall is a referral link: Fourthwall credits Teddynews for it. Nothing changes for you.

7. Having your store set up

On the page Merch: have your store set up we offer two packages; scope and price are stated there. The contract is concluded when you complete payment at Stripe; you receive the invoice by email.

So that we can set things up, you send us your design and invite office@teddynews.at as a team member to your Fourthwall store. We set up within 14 days of receiving your design and team access. If you have not asked us to start immediately, we start after the withdrawal period has ended.

The package price pays for the setup in full. No Teddyshop share applies to products we create during the setup.

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Details and the model form are in the withdrawal information.

8. Disconnecting, deleting, pausing, blocking

You can disconnect from Fourthwall and delete your account at any time, both on the Account page.

We may pause an account (no new items in the store) or block it (no use) if it breaches these terms, is misused or infringes the rights of others. We will tell you the reason by email. Viewing, disconnecting and deleting always remain possible. Products in your Fourthwall store remain in any case.

9. Availability

Teddyshop is a free service without guaranteed availability. If Fourthwall changes its interface, a feature may temporarily fail or be discontinued.

10. Liability

We are liable for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. We are not liable for slight negligence, except for personal injury. Fourthwall is liable for Fourthwall’s services, such as sales, printing, shipping and payouts.

11. Changes to these terms

We announce material changes by email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, delete your account; until then the previous terms apply.

12. Law and contact

Austrian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the country in which you live. We answer questions at office@teddynews.at. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
